21 Jump Street Movie Review

A comedy movie with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, 21 Jump Street is based on the popular 1980s television show of the same name. It is the story of a group of undercover police officers who go undercover in their local high school as teenagers to stop a synthetic drug outbreak. They must confront the terror of their teenage years and learn what it takes to be a cop.

The film is a modern twist on the classic buddy-cop series, which was created in the 1980s by Patrick Hasburgh and Stephen J. Cannell. In the show, the two main characters are Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum). They were not best friends in high school, but when a drug shipment is about to hit their town, they decide to foil the drug ring by pretending to be high school students.

The cast of the 21 Jump Street movie reunites with the original TV show’s director, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The movie also features Ice Cube, who is reprising his role as Captain Dickson, the Angry Black Captain.

The plot of the movie is loosely based on the original series, but a lot of the jokes are contemporary. The characters are stereotyped. One of the main characters is the smart, nerdy, handsome Schmidt, played by Jonah Hill. But his personality is not always what he seems. The film also depicts the consequences of substance abuse.

The 21 Jump Street movie was released on DVD on July 9, 2012. It grossed over $201 million worldwide. The movie aired on Fox in the United States and Sky in the UK. It was later adapted into a series. The series, which ran for five seasons, starred Drew Barrymore, Zoe Saldana, Jess Gabor, Roselyn Sanchez, Liev Schreiber, Steve Zahn, and Zoe Saldana.

In the fifth and final season, the character of John Smith was added. He is the son of a fallen police officer. He was shown to be wounded in a shootout, but he survived. He was then re-engaged by a CIA agent, Vivian. He is now trying to divert his most famous on-screen personas to rescue himself.

The film was released on Blu-ray on July 9, 2012. In addition, Sony Pictures has released a special video featuring the actors. The event, called “High School Confidential,” is scheduled for Thursday, March 15 at 8 PM. The event will be livestreamed and users can submit their favorite high school memories.

The plot of the 21 Jump Street movie is a little thin, but it is still a lot of fun. The two leads have great chemistry. Their friendship is the heart of the film. The film is a good choice for both adults and teens. It is not just a comedy, it also tackles social issues such as substance abuse and the sociological make-up of high school.

The DVD includes 20 deleted scenes. The film is available in a 4K Blu-ray version. The Blu-ray features a behind-the-scenes documentary with Johnny Depp, and a featurette with the actor.
