Avatar The Way of Water

“Avatar: The Way of Water” is the sequel to James Cameron’s 2009 blockbuster film, “Avatar”. It is set more than a decade after the first movie and stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. The movie has been released by 20th Century Studios and is produced by Cameron and Jon Landau. It has a price tag of nearly 460 million. It opens this weekend in 4,200 theaters. It grossed $53 million on its opening day. However, it will need to gross at least 460 million to break even.

The sequel centers on Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) and his Na’vi family. They have been living among the reef-dwelling Na’vi. They have developed a family and adopted three children. They are now raising them in a new clan of reef-dwelling Na’vi. The Sullys have a difficult war to fight. They must stay safe.

The story follows Jake Sully and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana), who have been raising a family together in a remote place. After being stranded on a distant island, they are attacked by a dangerous sea predator. They are rescued by tulkun Payakan, a pacifistic cetacean species. The tulkuns have greenish skin and flipper-like tails. They have a brain substance that “just stops aging” and gives them the ability to withstand extreme temperatures. They have a spiritual bond to the Metkayina, a reef people who consider them as part of their spiritual family. They are also attracted to human capitalists, who have discovered a lucrative substance in the tulkuns.

As with the first film, the sequel has an action-packed plot. There are some excellent and breathtaking fight sequences that will make you tremble. However, the story is far from unique and the film has a lot of banal emotions and aesthetics. It also has a lack of character depth. The screenplay is more concerned with visual enticements than developing characters, making it a very uninvolving film.

Aside from Jake Sully and Neytiri, there are also other characters, including a female Metkayina named Kiri. The film features the return of actress Sigourney Weaver as Dr. Grace Augustine, who appears in a spiritual vision. She takes a side with the Na’vi. She is killed during a Na’vi conflict, but her avatar has come to life and birthed a daughter, Kiri.

Avatar: The Way of Water was released on December 16. It was a massive success, earning a total of 460 million worldwide and racking up a whopping $53 million on its opening weekend. It was the sixth best opening of the year. It’s currently on the top 10 list of highest-grossing movies of 2012. The film opened in 4,200 theatres. It has received a positive reception from audiences and critics. The movie has already been picked up for distribution in a number of other countries. The film will soon be released in 3D and will feature high frame rate technology.

Overall, Avatar: The Way of Water is a good movie that’s worth seeing. It will be a hit, if only because of its dazzling visuals and stunning action. The movie also includes a cast that was put through grueling training.
